The mission of Together We Bloom is to empower young children with disabilities and their families through equitable access to

connection, communication,

and community.

Working to transform our community into a place that is more inclusive and equitable for disabled and neurodivergent children.

Providing sliding scale, neurodiversity-affirming speech and language therapy.

We progress this mission through

Join us for a community-wide workshop for parents, educators, and community members committed to raising inclusive kids who understand disability and neurodiversity as natural, important parts of human diversity.

Together, we’ll discuss a framework to: 1) Examine what it means to be an anti-ableist, neurodiversity-affirming parent/caregiver; 2) Reframe "differences" as natural, valuable parts of our communities—not “problems” to fix or ignore; 3) Engage tough questions in ways that center care, dignity and justice; 4) Identify everyday opportunities to model and help normalize anti-ableist, neurodiversity-affirming values, from playground interactions to media choices; and 5) Explore book lists & resources for all ages to continue learning.

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Marshall + Bolden PTAs and open to the entire SOMA community. Thank you Marshall Elementary School PTA and Bolden School PTA
