SNCN's first initiative is centering neurodivergent voices in a celebration of neurodiversity through Neurodivergent-Approved, Neurodiversity-Affirming Book Recommendations.

In collaboration with Maplewood and South Orange public libraries, SNCN is collecting recommendations of books on neurodivergence that reject ableist assumptions and stereotypes and instead offer insight and understanding into the broad spectrum of lived experiences of neurodivergence.

With three separate lists for picture books, young adult, and adult selections, our goal is to create resources accessible to all ages and approved by neurodivergent community members.

All recommendations are reviewed by SNCN volunteers.
