What is a Sensory Accessibility Kit?
-
Sensory kits are portable accommodations designed to increase the accessibility of community events by providing various tools for individuals to manage sensory input and to self-regulate.
-
These kits can benefit any child or adult and are an important access tool for many neurodivergent and disabled people.
-
Organizations may purchase kits to keep or TWB has 10 kits available to borrow (with a sliding scale maintenance fee ).
-
These kits were made possible in part by a grant from The Maplewood Foundation.

Sliding Scale Maintenance Fee
To keep our Sensory Accessibility Kits financially accessible, equitable, and sustainable, we offer three pricing tiers. Please choose the tier that fits your organization’s current capacity.
Supported Tier – $50/event
For organizations or small nonprofits with limited budgets. This rate is partially subsidized by our community so you can still access the full kit.
Standard Tier – $75/event
Covers the true cost of the rental/upkeep
Pay-It-Forward Tier – $100+/event
If your organization has the means, this tier helps cover costs for others at the Supported Tier. Your generosity makes this program more equitable and sustainable.
Your payment goes directly to Together We Bloom to cover the upkeep of these sensory room materials including cleaning and replacement of worn out items so that this service can continue to be available to the community.
